What to Bring
Students will need to bring bedding (the beds are twin XL), a pillow, towels, clothes, and toiletries. There are laundry facilities students can use. Laundry operates by a QR code and requires a credit card number to use. Dress is casual. Bringing a fan is highly recommended.
We strongly recommend bringing a laptop, as evidence will be provided electronically, in addition to your usual debate supplies (pens, flow paper, timer, etc).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the situation in the dorms like, especially in terms of security and student safety?
The dorms are secured by UW Campus Police (and of course by keycard access). Students are allowed to socialize till curfew, but only in common lounge areas. Each night, we check in on every student via room check. After room check, students are not allowed outside the dorms. The camp staff stays in the dorm to ensure that curfew is enforced. We have a rotating "dorm duty" shift in the common room on the student floor to ensure students aren't sneaking out.
Can you tell me more about meals?
Students under the "residential" or "commuter with meals" plan get 3 meals a day at Washakie Dining Hall. They have plenty of time on the schedule to get meals. Washakie serves the majority of the UW student population during the year, and is equipped to accommodate nearly all dietary restrictions.
Do students in the two week camp work through the weekend?
We do schedule through the weekend. We try to create some restful moments (including Sunday morning off), but since we're one of the shorter camp options we try to maximize the time students spend with us. Parents are of course welcome to temporarily check their kids out at any time, but except Sunday morning they would be missing content.
Can I mail my student a care package, etc?
Yes. All mail is sent to: University of Wyoming, (name of attendee), Wyoming Forensics Institute, 100 White Hall, Laramie, WY, 82070.
How does laundry work?
Students can download an app (Clear Token) and load money on the app to pay for laundry. Each laundry room has a poster with a QR code on it for downloading.
